This Privacy Policy explains how Golden Pig (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects the information you provide when you book a table or receive text-message updates from us.

Information we collect

When you make a reservation, we collect the details you provide: your name, party size, requested arrival time, and — if you choose to give them — your mobile phone number, email address, and any special requests. We do not collect this information unless you provide it to us for the purpose of managing your reservation.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to manage your reservation and to communicate with you about it — for example, to confirm your booking, let you know when your table is ready, or follow up about a change to your reservation. We do not use your information for advertising and we do not send marketing or promotional messages.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number and opt in, Golden Pig will send you transactional SMS messages — reservation confirmations and table-ready alerts. Message frequency varies, typically 1–3 messages per reservation. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is shared only with our SMS provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you requested. No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing.

How we protect your information

Access to guest information is restricted to authorized staff and the systems needed to run the restaurant. Sensitive contact details are stored securely and are not exposed publicly.

Data retention

We keep reservation information for as long as needed to operate the restaurant and to meet legal or accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You may ask us to delete the contact information we hold for you.

Your choices

Providing your phone number and opting in to texts is optional — you can book without it. Once opted in, reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. To request access to or deletion of your information, contact us using the details below.
